BitPixel

UI/UX design that stays consistent as your product grows

We design interfaces for web and mobile products — from first user flows to a documented design system — and we design them to be built, because the same team writes the code.

Overview

Designed to be built, not just admired

Good interface design is mostly decisions nobody notices: what is on the screen, what is left off, and what happens when something goes wrong. We start from the people using the product and the job they are trying to get done, then work up to the visuals — not the other way round.

Everything is delivered as clickable Figma prototypes rather than static screens, so you can try the flow yourself before a line of code is written. The components we design map one-to-one to the components we build, which is why the finished product looks like the design.

Technologies we use

  • Figma
  • Framer
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Miro
  • Tailwind CSS

What's included

UI/UX Design: what's included

Every engagement is scoped up front, so you know exactly what is being delivered before work starts.

  • UX research & user flows

Interviews, competitor review and flow mapping to agree what the product needs to do before deciding how it looks.

  • Wireframes

Low-fidelity layouts for every key screen, cheap to change while the structure is still open.

  • Clickable prototypes

High-fidelity Figma prototypes you can tap through on a real device.

  • Design systems

Tokens, components and usage rules that keep every new screen consistent.

  • Usability testing

Prototype tests with real users, with findings fed back into the design before build.

  • Developer handoff

Specs, states and edge cases documented for your engineers — or simply built by us.

Where it fits

The design work we take on

  • New product design

Taking an idea from a brief to a tested, build-ready prototype.

  • Redesigns

Reworking a product that has grown inconsistent or hard to use, without breaking what users already know.

  • Design systems

Turning a collection of one-off screens into a shared library for design and engineering.

FAQ

Questions about UI/UX design

Something we have not covered? Ask us directly.

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX design decides how a product works: the flows, the structure and what each screen is for. UI design decides how it looks and feels: layout, type, colour and interaction. We do both together, because splitting them is how products end up attractive but confusing.

Do you only design, or do you build as well?

Both. You can hire us for design alone and take the Figma files to your own engineers, or have us build what we design. Most clients choose the second, because nothing is lost in handoff.

What do we receive at the end of a design project?

The full Figma source files, a clickable prototype, a documented design system, and specs for every state and breakpoint. The files are yours — there is no licence and no lock-in.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. We work within existing brand guidelines, and extend them where a digital product needs things the guidelines never covered, such as interaction states, data display or dark mode.
